Voluntary Life Insurance

You have the option of purchasing coverage for yourself, spouse and children through MetLife. Choose coverage at a minimum of $25,000. For spousal coverage, buy increments of $5,000, up to a maximum of $250,000. If you enroll when first eligible, you may qualify for guaranteed issue coverage with no medical questions. If you wait to enroll or increase coverage later, you may be required to complete medical underwriting, and coverage is not guaranteed. For more details, click here.

Voluntary Short-Term Disability

The Short-Term Disability program provides financial protection by paying a portion of your income when you are disabled - up to 60% of your weekly earnings, with a maximum of $2,000 per week. Administered by MetLife. If you enroll when first eligible, coverage is generally available without medical underwriting. If you postpone enrollment, you may be required to provide evidence of good health, and coverage may not be approved.

Voluntary Long-Term Disability

The Long-Term Disability benefit is 60% of monthly earnings with a maximum of $10,000 per month, depending on the plan you choose. This plan is administered by MetLife.
